This category is for discussion and questions on building and installing SMTK for use by external applications or for packaging for platform distribution (i.e., distributing SMTK with an operating system or with an external platform like conda).

This category is not for how SMTK should be built for its own purposes, such as dashboard testing. Those discussions belong in _Software Process_. It is also not for discussions about how to change SMTK’s build system; those belong in the _Design_ category.
