# Can the Pulse engine simulate the prone position?

Hello everyone

I am interested in whether the Pulse engine can simulate a patient being moved or placed in the prone position (for example with severe ARDS secondary to bacterial pneumonia)?

We do not currently modify the models based on position of the body. However, this is a change we should be able to make, particularly for these cases. Let me know if you would like to talk more about this.
