T.J. Corona joined Kitware in August, 2015 as a Senior R&D Engineer in the Scientific Computing team. T.J. received his B.S. in Physics and Russian Language and Culture from Duke University in 2006, his M.S. in Physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2009, and his Ph.D. in Physics and Astronomy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014. While in graduate school, T.J. was a member of the Karlsruhe Tritium Neutrino (KATRIN) experiment, where he developed high performance computing algorithms for a Boundary Element Method designed to characterize the electrostatic fields of KATRIN’s apparatus.
