If a simulated patient loses enough blood, does the patient become unconscious? And then regain consciousness if blood products are administered?
No we do not specify unconsciousness within the engine.
You could do this by looking at a variety of parameters that are calculated, such as oxygen level in the brain. We choose not to estimate unconsciousness or death because they cannot be pinpointed to specific parameters and are somewhat subjective.
