I’ve managed to run the suturing example in iMSTK-Unity, as also seen on the announcement post.
In this example, the tissue doesn’t seem to close on itself as the suturing process continues. I wonder if this feature needs to be implemented.

There is no friction term implemented in the constraint that keeps the thread in the tissue, the appropriate code is in imstkNeedlePbdCH. There is some code that simulates the approximation of tissue by pulling the existing constraints together and fixing them in space, in unity this can be activated by pushing s
but you do have to have punctured the tissue 3 times for this to work.
On our side there are no plans to add any enhancements
