I found this publication for a Modelling Valvular Diseases Using a Virtual Physiology Engine
I could not find any more information about this topic.

I am curious to know if this model exists somewhere in source or if there is more information to be had about what was implemented or if it worked.

Hi Kurt

The work done for this paper was done on this branch

However it was not fully completed/validated, so it was not merged into the stable branch.

The model is still there and could be picked up and completed if anyone is interested.
